Need To Build Muscle

How Many Carbs Do You Need To Build Muscle With Hugo & Rodzilla http://ift.tt/Z3cOau – Natural Bodybuilding Tip: How Many Carbs Do You Need To Build Muscle? | Rodney (aka Rodzilla) & Hugo discuss how many carbs and what type of carbohydrates you need to build muscle. First you need to consume quality carbs (good carbs). Complex carbs give you slow released sustained energy so carbs like oatmeal, sweet potatoes, brown rice, You also need some fibrous carbs which are green beans, lettuce, broccoli. They help you to assimilate the protein and other nutrients better by cleaning out your system. In addition, these carbs provide you with negative calories. WHat that means is that if you consume 5 calories of fibrous carbs, you burn around 7 calories in order to digest them. That is why I feel that these are free foods. Fruits are OK as long as you limit them to breakfast and to before or after the workout as these are released quicker into the bloodstream. Carb quantity depends on body type. You have 3 body types. Ectomorph: Naturally skinny / hard to gain muscle. Needs 2 grams per pound of bodyweight. Suggest to take 1/2 carbs from real food and 1/2 from a good weight gainer like Labrada’s Muscle Mass Gainer. (Check it out here: http://ift.tt/1LGPBTq) Endomorph: Easy to gain fat and muscle. First figure out your lean body mass using caliper readings. Once you calculate your lean body mass (total weight – fat weight) and then do 1 gram per pound of lean body mass. If no muscle gain in 2 weeks then increase to 1.2 grams per pound. Mesomorph: Genetically gifted. Born with more muscle and hard to gain body fat. Needs around 3 grams per pound of bodyweight. May need a supplement like the Muscle Mass Gainer from Labrada Nutrition. (Check it out here: http://ift.tt/1LGPBTq) Be sure to split the carbs evenly throughout the day and consume them with protein & fibrous carbs.
